F is for Fangtooth, which is perhaps the most honest letter in the alphabet. The fangtooth is around six inches long, nearly blind, and has the largest teeth of any fish in the ocean in proportion to its body size. They are so large it has evolved special pouches in the roof of its mouth to stop them piercing its own brain when it closes its jaw. It lurks in the dark at 5,000 feet and essentially waits to bump into something edible. Children find this extremely satisfying, in my experience.
