The sort of creatures we know are out there, without ever quite managing to see them properly. This alphabet is a modest attempt to fix that, one letter at a time.
The full A to Z runs through acorns, badgers, caterpillars, deer, evergreens, foxes, grasshoppers, hedgehogs, ivy, juniper shield bugs, kingfishers, leaves, mushrooms, nests, owls, pine cones, queen bees, rabbits, squirrels, toads, underwing moths, voles, weasels, xylodromus beetles, yellowwort, and a zebra spider. Every one of them genuinely British. None chosen because they were easy.
There's a badger who visits the garden from time to time for the fallen pears. He is, not very originally, the reason B is for Badger.

Printed on archival 300gsm cotton rag paper with 12-colour non-toxic, fade-resistant inks. Hand-finished and packed by me in Somerset. Sold unframed; all sizes fit standard frame formats.

Eco-Conscious Materials: I take sustainability seriously. My sustainable prints are made from premium Cotton Rag paper which comes from leftover cotton scraps. When packaged up for you the smaller prints are sent snug in biodegradable cello bags, with recycled card backing, all mailed in sturdy envelopes. Larger pieces? They’re rolled in recycled tissue and sent in robust recycled tubes for safe travel.
