A is for Anchor. Z is for Zooplankton, which is perhaps the most honest way an alphabet about the sea has ever ended. In between, the letters make their way steadily along the coast and out into the water, past a buoy, a crab, a dolphin, a gull, beach huts, an inflatable, a jellyfish, kelp, a lighthouse, a mermaid, a nautilus, an oyster catcher, a pirate ship, a quadrant, a rope, a starfish, a tug boat, an urchin, a whale, X marks the spot, and a yacht. Twenty six letters, and almost all of the sea.
E is for Ensign, and that flag can be any country you like. Y is for Yacht, and the small flag on the yacht can match. Select your country from the dropdown when you order, and if yours isn't listed just drop me a note and I will sort it. It is a small thing, but it tends to make the print feel as though it was made for the specific person it is going to, which is rather the point.
I hand illustrated every letter and print on archival fine art paper. I make each one to order in Somerset, so it arrives ready to go straight into a frame.
Works well alongside the Ocean Animals Alphabet if you want both sides of the sea on the same wall.

Eco-Conscious Materials: I take sustainability seriously. My sustainable prints are made from premium Cotton Rag paper which comes from leftover cotton scraps. When packaged up for you the smaller prints are sent snug in biodegradable cello bags, with recycled card backing, all mailed in sturdy envelopes. Larger pieces? They’re rolled in recycled tissue and sent in robust recycled tubes for safe travel.
